About AVSTUDIO
From activewear to swimwear and lingerie, we have you covered – literally.
AVSTUDIO supports entrepreneurs creating quality brands. We provide tools, strategies, and expert guidance to help you deliver modern activewear, swimwear, and lingerie collections in a sustainable way. We’re with you from ideation to manufacturing, and we offer low minimum orders, on-trend advice, and custom-made designs.
The majority of our services and resources are eco-focused, and we have an open-door policy at our factory. We are an honest and responsible partner, and we always strive to shape beautiful, desirable products that leave the smallest environmental impact possible. Each project we collaborate on is unique, bespoke, and original.
We bring entrepreneurs’ vision to life in AVSTUDIO, based in Medellín, Colombia. Here, we focus on empowering women, and our all-female team of professionals have more than 10 years of experience working with international clients. Along with our sustainability efforts, we promote social transformation in Colombia, with a percentage of every order going to El Costurero del Golfo. This initiative teaches women in the Pacific coast of Colombia to sew and learn business skills that enable them to earn an income and launch their own ventures.

Andrea Villegas, Founder and Creative Director
Andrea has more than a decade of experience as a designer and project manager for women’s swimwear and activewear, focusing on sustainable and social transformation. She’s worked with some of the world's top brands like Salty Mermaid, Voight by Valentina, and Valentine NY, Süsse Lingerie, and many more. Several of her bikini designs have been featured in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Supermodels Chrissy Teigen, Hailey Clauson, Gigi Hadid, and Irina Shayk have all worn her swimsuits.
Andrea is passionate about design and product development - in taking a complex and nuanced vision and making it a reality. Whether that means creating a swimwear line from scratch or helping a client bring a design concept to market, Andrea prides herself on delivering exceptional quality with every product she works on.
The team
Our team of 35 women are trained in specialized manufacturing, using industry techniques and know-how to create stunning garments. Together, they peer-review every step of the creation process to guarantee style and sustainability.These women are the pillar of AVSTUDIO, and they ensure the highest quality of production, care, and consciousness in everything that we do.
